Cart drivers competition

The competition popularizes the horse (carriage horse, cart horse etc.) and promotes the culture and habits of the highlanders from the Żywiec Beskids. Due to difficult agricultural conditions, highlanders need a constant cooperation with the horse. The aim of the competition is to show how important and difficult the dying out job as a cart driver is. The competition has three events (the strength of the towing power, the accuracy event and the agile driving). There are also other competitions for the audience (e.g. chopping wood, throwing).
