The Great Festival of Planting Trees is a fixed part of the project “On the Side of Nature” executed with the cooperation of three partners : Żywiec Zdrój, Nasza Ziemia Fundation, and the State Forests.
The organizers of the festival are Żywiec Zdrój, Gmina Węgierska Górka, the Gmina Promotion Centre and the Forest Range of Węgierska Górka.
The festival attracts a few thousand people. The trees are planted by the foresters, the people from the local region ant tourists. It is worth mentioning that five million trees have been planted in the area of the Żywiec Beskids during last five years.
